Highly recommended. We only stayed one night and would definitely have enjoyed another night. Outstanding historical building, beautiful garden, cute Scottish cows in the field. Room and washroom was spacious with view over the field. Dinner was excellent. Staff were helpful and clearly enjoy their jobs.

We loved the location being so near the Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns. Additionally, Inverness was a short drive with easy access. The property was lovely and we took advantage of walking the gardens. The library and drawing rooms were perfect to enjoy a cocktail and the breakfast and dinner were terrific. Lastly, the staff were personable and helpful.

Beautiful classy hotel with very friendly staff. Kyle welcomed us and made us feel so special. There is also a farm behind the backyard lawn where we got to see and pet Scottish highland cows and their babies through the fence!

From the moment we arrived at the culloden house we received five star service. We stayed at the house for 3 nights. The staff went above and beyond to make our first trip to Scottland great. The facility amenities and room were very clean. We ate breakfast and dinner which were great! The bar service was great! The garden was beautiful. We picked apples off a tree located in the garden and fed the highland cows which are located in a pasture behind the house. The hotel has a gentlemen that plays the bagpipes outside at 6 pm each night. I would like to specifically mention George and Kyle who were very attentive to our needs before we even asked. Scott was an amazing bar tender! They treated us like family! I would recommend this stay and plan to go back with my children in a couple of years. This was one of six hotels we stayed in while traveling around Scottland for 2 weeks and it was by far the best. We did not receive this kind of service, amenities, or cleanliness at the other hotels.

Fabulous! We loved staying at Culloden House. Our room was spacious, comfortable and lovely. The bathroom was spacious, luxurious and had lots of scented soaps, etc for our use. When we arrived early for our stay, our bags were taken up to our room us for us once it was ready. We came back later to find our room had been prepared for our evening with a nice turn down service. The hotel is very historic and reflects the importance of its place in the local history. We ate breakfast and one dinner there and the food was excellent and plentiful. The service staff was attentive, thoughtful and friendly. We walked around the Walled Garden one evening and were mesmerized by the beauty we found there. It is magical. Overall, this is ranks as a top 10 stay during our trip to Scotland.

Beautiful property- the hotel, gardens, “hairy coos” in the field. We absolutely loved our stay at Culloden House. The staff, especially our porters, Blake and Kyle, were so attentive and helpful. Blake is so fun and he filled us in on the amazing history of the house, and Kyle is just a gem! Our room was immaculate and so well-appointed. The only downside was that it was hot in our room, but we used the fan in the armoire to help cool it down some. The hotel is a short drive from the Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. Our only regret is that we couldnt stay at Culloden House longer! Mark & Beth Fellmeth
