"Did not expect much from this hotel as was a reasonable price with breakfast in london , is a good 10 minute walk down to main areas of theatre land so bare in mind if you have a walking issue. Room was of a fairly clean standard but in need of a renovation. We had a basement room ensuite and the windows are not very soundproof so was kept awkake for most of the night with street noise so try not to get this room number 28. Shower was a good standard and hot water no problem. Breakfast room very small so beware that you may have to wait for a table as we did , just went away and came back 10 minutes later,not an issue. Breakfast was continental type and had a reasonable selection of items. Garden area was left with discarded matresses but had wildlife to watch and you can smoke there. Overall if you just looking for one night stay as a base to travel round london it will do , but i think would not stay again"

"Property was in a great location for access to the British Museum and other interesting sites. Room was clean and surprisingly quiet. Only negative was the room faced the front and people smoke out there near the entrance. Breakfast was varied with healthy options and standard fare. Would book again"

"I genuinely had a really lovely stay here. I’ve watched it have a total refurb for the past 18 months and was looking forward to staying there. I wasn’t disappointed. The rooms were brand new, I don’t believe anyone had stayed in mine as the steamer was still boxed! Well designed, had one of the best sleeps in London (I stay for business), probably due to the inner door from the corridor. Breakfast was a lovely affair. Nice space, music a tad too loud but the food quality and service was very good. I had poached eggs on avocado toast, I asked for a side of bacon (which was a surcharge of about £6 - which seemed steep for 2-3 rashers of crispy bacon). I’ll definitely stay here again on business and would also recommend a leisure hotel."

"Fabulous value in central London, near to theatres shops, underground stations. Super friendly staff felt more like a coastal seaside guesthouse than a big city Hotel excellent night sleep as fire doors prevent sound from other rooms outside and hallways. Excellent breakfast options. Staff couldn’t have been any friendly and unhelpful. I’ll be back."
