"We had a wonderful stay in this cottage at the top of the mountain. The home was comfortable, homely and well presented. Loved the views, the wary sheep, walking in the surrounding areas, the enclosed fireplace and the silence. Would highly recommend."

"The Hen House was lovely! It really was pretty, comfortable and finished to an incredibly high standard. The estate is beautiful and we happened to stay during a midsummer fair, which was fantastic. The hot tub was in dire need of a deep chemical clean. The tubes connected to the fire were leaking bits of dirt. Also the check out time being 10am is quite early when it is self catering and you’ll also need to pack a car. Overall I would highly reccomend a stay here. "

"It’s a great location, close to rail station and city center where you’ll find lots of shopping and dining options. The river is a block away with more options across the bridge. As many hotels are doing these days, you have to request room cleaning and/or new towels. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. Room was comfortable…a decent size with some storage. Staff were friendly and available. Breakfast is available for a price. Overall we’d stay here again"
