"The beds in our room, don't know about the other rooms...but ours was ridiculous, we couldn't even sleep in the same bed because both beds and a huge depression on one side. It was crazy to think anyone can sleep in those conditions. I tell the desk lady and all she says is, we have many return visitors. Well I hope they didn't get room #9. You are allowed two coffee pods a day, like they are rationed out. You have to go to the desk and ask for them, then they want to make sure you really need the cream and sugar packets. MM is large and in charge of that deal, he must have skin in the game. Because he is at your car window as soon as you pull up telling you your not exactly between the lines. When we arrived we already had the code to the lock box, but for some reason he thought he had to facilitate our entry to the room then isisted, I say that it was cute, and it is cute, but cute don't make up for the indented bed. The parking is ridiculous to get out. I see all the reviews of this place and think that they are done by management. The tub, well that's a whole other story, I wanted a bath so I took out the mat and the whole bottom of the tub is stained with wear and the enclosure is grubby also. I'd never stay there again. So there ya go MM...thanks for the hospitality, and by the way you telling my husband to take it easy on the review was a joke!"

"Excellent place to stay when visiting UCSD, it’s just 15 minutes drive to UCSD. When I took my son for UCSD Open House, we stayed here. The room is clean, has awesome breakfast, plenty of parking lots and free. The hotel is close to Highway 5, so it’s very convenient but not feel noisy at all."

"I spent 4 nights at The Inn at Moonlight Beach and I was still not ready to leave! Every morning I took a nice long stroll down Moonlight beach, and stopped off for coffee at Lofty. A wonderful breakfast basket was waiting for me when I returned with fresh fruit, a chia seed parfait and green juice. I stayed in Sweet Bay, which had nice high ceilings, a comfortable bed, a mini kitchen and a large soaking tub. All of the touches were so well thought out. I loved the sound machine with the sound of waves in the background of my entire stay. The cute beach bag was used daily. There is no doubt I will return!"

"The ocean view was amazing. Walk to restaurants and beaches. We had beautiful weather. We read about the stairs and steps throughout the house and deck but I wouldnt bring my 90 year old mother again although she really enjoyed her time there. "
