Brisa Pacific Hotel Encinitas

"The Brisa Pacific Hotel is in an excellent location. It is a five-minute walk to the beach (up El Portal Street and then S. El Portal Street where it branches) and then down the steps from bluff to the beach. Several restaurants are a few minutes walk (we recommend Juanita's Taco Shop), and downtown Encinitas and Moonlight Beach are less than a mile away. Parking is free and easy. The pool was a nice touch but a bit cool and in need of cleaning. Breakfast was continental (no hot food, except toast) but had a good selection. Some items (lamp, desk chair) in our room needed fixed. Wifi worked well, as did the air conditioning, TV, etc."

"This stay was good! The staff was kind and tentative. It is nearby restaurants, and not far from the beach. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool! I did not experience any added on fees that were not expected as some have stated. I gave a 4 since the cleaning can be a bit better but other than that, it was a quiet, peaceful stay."

"The deck and view were worth the travel and cost. The second floor bathroom had an ant invasion that was annoying. But the worst thing was the stairway to the beach. We are older and the 300 or so steps were very difficult and broken in places. That should have been included in the original description. The house was very hot when we first arricved, but one day later and a visit from a handyman who repaired the protable AC unit, it finally cooled down. No excuse for that. otherwais, The house was very nicxe but ciulds use some cosmetic maintenance."

"This is a beautiful property, overlooking the ocean. The deck is large so that we could all enjoy views of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. The house is roomy, well appointed and comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary appliances and spices. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and modern.We had our family reunion here and couldn’t ask for anything more! I’m sure we will return."

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at this large home perched high on the cliffs overlooking Beacon Beach in Encinitas on Neptune Ave. We were impressed by how clean the property was. We rented the top half of the house, which featured 3 spacious bedrooms/2 baths, laundry on the main floor & an upstairs master & full bath, along with a second attic style bedroom that could sleep 3 or 4 children & a rooftop jacuzzi.The layout was perfect for our group,w/ first floor large open kitchen & a living room that opened up to an expansive balcony. The outdoor seating area was delightful, providing us w/breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean & the coastline & front-row seat to the surfers at Beacon Beach. The upstairs primary bedroom was comfortable w/a private balcony and large shared bathroom. The second bedroom, which could accommodate two to three beds, was small. This room had a sink but does not have an en-suite bathroom, which means guests would need to share the master bathroom. This setup worked for our group but could be a consideration for larger families. One downside for us was the adjacent parking lot for Beacon Beach. At sunset, this area becomes quite crowded w/people gathering to enjoy the views, & we experienced loud music from a mobile DJ. Thankfully, everyone honored the 9 o’clock quiet time, but having a baby with us made it a bit challenging due to the noise. Many stairs. We appreciated A/C &Having the garage but it is VERY busy location on Neptune Ave."
