"A perfect villa for our 5 night stay in Crete! The home is spacious, welcoming and offers not only complete privacy but amazing views from a wrap around porch and pool. We appreciated being able to spread out, enjoy the views from all of the bedrooms, and enjoy family meals cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. Our gracious host met us a check in and was available for any questions we had. It was a central location convenient to really sample the many wonderful offerings of Crete. I would highly recommend!"

"This modern villa is spotlessly clean throughout with panoramic views in every direction. Even from inside the Villa the view through the windows changes each day like a living painting. It’s spectacular. The grounds are completely enclosed and child friendly with plenty of space for kids to play and adults to chill. The gardens are very well maintained and watered, if you’re from the UK think of a national trust garden with Mediterranean plants. It is also very well lit in the evenings with the BBQ dining area overlooking the top half of Crete (not exaggerating) being one of the gardens hi-lights.The Villa feels secluded in it’s own hillside setting but is at most a 7 minute drive back down to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. So on those sweltering afternoons where the heat of the coast is getting too much, in 10 minutes you can be in your own gorgeous pool with a mountain breeze. Perfect!Eleni deserves her own 5* review but I’m running out of space! A flawless host who is kind, caring, quick to respond to any messages and super friendly. Thank you Eleni! There are no downsides, the beds are comfy, the pool is sparkling, the garden is stunning, the water pressure is great, the wifi is fast, I could go on and on.Stop searching now and book this place, you wont regret it and you’ll never want to leave.Thank you so much! "Our week long stay at Koupos Villa was exactly what we wanted; quiet and relaxing. The villa is beautifully finished and had all the necessary fixtures we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were so helpful and kind, leaving some fruit and coffee with other essentials for when we arrived. They even changed bed linen and towels mid week which was a bonus. The outdoor setting of pool and bbq/pizza oven were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed making full use of them. The nearest shop was a 5 minute drive away in small nearby village and bigger supermarket (lidl) only 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed exploring Rethymnon one day and even walked around surrounding villages some evenings as sun was setting. would highly recommend this villa and would happily stay again in the future."

"The property is as described but be warned access requires you to travel up some very steep and very narrow lanes which will test your driving skills. Our sat nav directed us to a lane which was simply impassible. The property is fine but when we stayed there was an infestation of ants in the kitchen and some other issues. I would have expected when paying more than €1300 for a week to be provided with some basics like washing up liquid and extra toilet rolls rather than having to provide them myself. Both showers were broken and most alarmingly I got a mild electric shock from one of the light fittings by the bed. Beware! The kitchen equipment is very poor - there was no chopping board and too few plates/glasses and mugs. I would also have expected some cereal bowls. Overall it’s an OK place to stay but I would shop around before committing."
