"A perfect villa for our 5 night stay in Crete! The home is spacious, welcoming and offers not only complete privacy but amazing views from a wrap around porch and pool. We appreciated being able to spread out, enjoy the views from all of the bedrooms, and enjoy family meals cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. Our gracious host met us a check in and was available for any questions we had. It was a central location convenient to really sample the many wonderful offerings of Crete. I would highly recommend!"

"Our week long stay at Koupos Villa was exactly what we wanted; quiet and relaxing. The villa is beautifully finished and had all the necessary fixtures we needed to enjoy our stay. The owners were so helpful and kind, leaving some fruit and coffee with other essentials for when we arrived. They even changed bed linen and towels mid week which was a bonus. The outdoor setting of pool and bbq/pizza oven were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed making full use of them. The nearest shop was a 5 minute drive away in small nearby village and bigger supermarket (lidl) only 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed exploring Rethymnon one day and even walked around surrounding villages some evenings as sun was setting. would highly recommend this villa and would happily stay again in the future."

"I had a lovely stay here and would come again. I will say that while the property is clean and the staff take care of it, it does need a little lick of paint here and there but overall it is a beautiful location and a true place to relax and recoup. I was disappointed that there wasn't yoga classes as posted, but I was able to book a private class with a teacher, who was great. Booked with their masseuse a few times as she was WONDERFUL (Rose if I remember rightly) Handy swimming pool right outside my room (salt). And a little general store on site which after realizing that Plakias is a 15min drive away, was good to have on hand. Scuba diving in the cove was gorgeous and there was a little spot you could jump straight into the ocean near the main pool. The cove is not the beach however, the walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and up some very steep stairs. The view is amazing, but I'd recommend wearing solid walking shoes as there is loose gravel/rocks and the drop to the ocean is sheer. The entertainment was mediocre to be honest, and the location would benefit from a karaoke night in my opinion. All-inclusive does not include all drinks, beer and wine only. But the food was decent enough to not bother going into the town except for a treat. Great nudist beach nearby in Plakias, with regular beach down the road. Lovely little town. "

"The hotel is of a great build quality. Awesome views of the mountain range. Pool is a good generous size and pleasant to hang out. Breakfast was excellent quality for €10. Rooms are comfortable, albeit a bit small."

"Was as good as shown on the App, (i have noticed that a lot of Villas on the App are shown as having a Hot tub/Spa which in this case is wrong and so for a lot of others one`s) however that did not detract from our holiday all was excellent, Owners, Property,Location and Surrounding area, the owner provided a meal on our arrival, which was very welcome and was of a very high standard, we visited 6 local taverna`s in the area and was not disappointed by any of them. we would return no doubt in the future."

"Quiet and rural, relaxing and nature-immersed, the villa was an ideal spot for an early summer break. Nikos was the perfect host, attentive and communicative but not over-bearing, simply offering guidance and support when needed. The villa is relatively simple, but perfectly and comfortably functional, clean and suffiiciently-equipped. The garden and surrounds were naturally beautiful, with cats, peacocks and swallows regular visitors, plus the added bonus of a single-eppearance shrew. The pool is ideal size for a family of three, and its relative shallowness would suit familes with young children. Friendly and fine local restaurants abound, be they the two local ones around four and seven minutes' drives (in Lampini and Mixorrouma), or a sheer glut of them in Spili, an easy ten-minute car journey, The local village Mixorrouma also offers a small supermarket, with two larger ones in Spili. A perfect place for that much-needed away-from-it-all holiday, and thanks to Nikos and his family for the welcome, friendliness and local food-and-drink gifts (especially the raki)."

"The villa is situated about an hour and a half from Chania airport. The journey is easy but there is a short period of an off road track just before you get to the villa. The villa was exactly as it looks in the pictures. The owner Nickolaos was absolutely lovely, he made sure we had arrived safely and had left a few essentials at the villa for us on arrival. He was available for any questions or requests we had and was so prompt with the responses. The village is literally 6 mins away with restaurants, bars and a number of supermarkets. The only issue we had were really strong winds most days which blew through the picturesque mountainswe were situated in. Lovely holiday"
