"This hotel was in a great location, directly across from the City Market. It was quiet, easy to walk to all tourist areas and the staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated the snacks and water in the room. The restaurant on property was excellent. We will stay here again when we're back in town. Regarding parking, don't be tempted to park across the street in the public parking...it is not overnight parking and you'll get a fine."

"The property was nice. Transportation into town was difficult due to the distance. It took over 30 minutes to get an uber or cab. The price was high for the nightly rate and the rooms at the Boardwalk could use a little refreshing. The staff was nice, however I have had better service at resorts that cost the same price. Lastly, the resort does not offer a shuttle service around the property. I found this odd… I had to walk from the main check in area (different building) with my luggage...

"Well the vase of water in this beautiful lobby was filthy! Fish House bar needs to be torn apart and cleaned.massage deep tissue not worth the 80 minutes. Parts of massage were okay but not what I expected! Compared to other resorts! When I checked out young guy glasses, was not concerned about my stay or a good bye… hope to see you again! Thanks! Not a freaking word! Move him away from guests! Pool guy on phone for hours! Pool food fare.. drinks watered down, so silly, pour a good drink! Never...

"Fabulous hotel in the heart of historical Charleston! It was a romantic getaway and the staff was perfect! We got the penthouse suite with a huge soaking tub and large separate shower!! We also had a Veranda ( somewhat underwhelming) but still access to the outside. We had a built in wet bar to create craft cocktails! And a complimentary bottle of champagne! The concierge made reservations for us for some special meal! The suite was quiet and lux! We are going back again!!"
