"This property has clearly been recently renovated and the room was lovely and very comfy. All our staff interactions were friendly and helpful. There was always someone on the front desk able to assist. Had a swim in the outdoor pool and that was great. We were told the area is a tad sketchy but we found it to feel safe and quiet. Compared to other hotels in the area, the Vic is a solid value. Would stay here again. "

"Love staying at BBR. It offers a quiet and relaxing environment where you can simply watch the ferry come and go or the boats bobbing in the bay. Or you can walk into Brentwood Bay for more dining options, antique shopping or to replenish liquor and food supplies. Dining at BBR also offers options to meet every expectation (fine dining, pub fare or room service). My only regret is that the pool is adults only. I can appreciate the rationale for this decision, but it would be nice if BBR...

"The hotel is well situated a couple blocks from Government Street. The staff are excellent and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Only problem was we couldn’t get a blanket for my granddaughter who slept on the sectional with only a sheet on my bed. Otherwise this is a beautiful hotel and quite pleasant to stay there. Being Celiacs and the restaurant accommodate my diet. I would recommend this hotel."

"Clean room, comfortable beds. Room was a bit cramped. Not much room to sit at the desk, lay down a suitcase, etc. Walls are very thin and there was a lot of noise from the street. There’s construction immediately nextdoor too. Location was great."

"This was a great hotel to stay in, and its proximity to where we needed to be was convenient. The staff were friendly and anticipated all of our needs. A huge shout out to the valet attendant who noticed that our family was dressed in formal clothes as the rain started coming in and offered us a ride on the golf cart to our vehicle. My only criticism is the lack of self-parking available. Trying to get a spot at times without needing to rely on valet service was challenging. Overall, I'd...
