"Everything was perfect "

"The Public was an amazing experience! The only reason a put a 4 star instead of 5, is because there is a $105 mandatory charge before you can check in. It gives you access to the roof and wifi, but $100 is too much to charge! Other than that, the room was fantastic, every employee we interacted with was amazing. "

"The most wonderful hotel. The staff were super helpful & welcoming. The arrival to and in the hotel is so well maintained, clean and smells incredible. The beds/linen/pillows are THE best I’ve ever slept on! Shower & amenities are excellent. There is the usual resort fee, whilst I’ll continue to dislike these, this hotel offers 1 x free breakfast (unsure why not 2, or actually how many people are in the room) or you can switch this to x 2 (these is far more reasonable) house drinks at the...

"Nice place , good location "

"The location right across the street from Central Park is fantastic for the price, especially considering this hotel is literally next door to The Plaza where Home Alone 2 was filmed. Also, the bed was the best I’ve ever slept on."

"The rooms were clean and spacious by New York standards, and easy walking distance from Penn Station. Staff was efficient and there was a choice of food and beverage options on site. It was good value for the price. I would stay there again. "

"This property was conveniently located by Grand Central and near the theater district. Great large rooms and bathrooms with a couch and table, Huge closet, 4 drawers for storage plus nightstand and a refrigerator "

"This my third time staying at the Empire. Staff are extremely friendly. The roof top pool and bar are great on a hot summer day. The Lincoln Centre across the street has live music outdoors on the weekends. Close to many nice restaurants and shops. Central Park is a block away. Best spot to stay in NYC! "

"Hotel and room clean. Could have done with more storage in the bedroom as we were staying for a week we didnt have anywhere to put our suitcases and only 2 small drawers between us. Could have done with hooks in bathroom to hang dressing gown and towels when in shower as hooks in shower meant there was a risk of everything getting wet. "

"Staff was super nice and helpful. Towels smelled bad however and the ac made an annoying gurgling noise all night."

"They stay was great the only thing was front desk lady she was so rude and disrespectful didn’t give me a chance to speak it was almost as we was being profile for being there like if I had no money guess because I was a Latina would I come back if that lady isn’t there sure I’ll come back 1000 times but that lady is disrespectful she shouldn’t be dealing with anyone if she’s races!"
