"Really disappointing experience. Shower barely a dribble. Iron not working (and super slow response to request). Alarm clock going off and set to the wrong times. No amenities in the room"
"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was much smaller than expected, making it uncomfortable for a longer stay. In addition, the housekeeping service was below standard. The staff seemed to focus only on cleaning the bathroom, while the rest of the room was often left untouched and not properly cleaned.
Overall, the room size and poor housekeeping significantly affected my experience, and I do not feel that the hotel met the standards I expected."
"We LOVED our stay at Hotel Edison! We chose this hotel because it is across the street from where Hamilton is playing (the reason for our trip) and a block from Times Square. We had a King Suite with a terrace and it was perfect for our family of 4. The staff was incredibly helpful and they kept the property very secure. The free breakfast was also a huge bonus for us! We will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to NYC."
"It’s a small clean and affordable spot in the heart of the city for business travellers. When compared to a higher budget hotel it lacks the expected maintenance, appearance, and amenities however for me personally the goal was to save on costs and have close access to places I needed to travel for work and for that this hotel was perfect. The rooms are small about 8x8 with a tiny washroom and shower which honestly was all I needed I was not hanging out in the room and I was travelling solo so...
"The hotel has an excellent location, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and fast elevators. Housekeeping was also good.
However, the rooms are outdated, the furniture and bathrooms need renovation, the carpet had an unpleasant smell, and the lighting was poor. There was also some minor noise.
Considering the high price, the overall experience was disappointing. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again."
"Loud hotel .. I was on the 6th floor and heard everything from outside. Bring ear plugs. No bottle waters in the room., fill up the smallest pitcher down the hall in an essential closet. Pass."
"Great stay and a super responsive and helpful front desk. The manager has their own work station and were regularly available to help with any issues. Room was very big and, by NYC standards, massive. Would happily stay again. I believe the manager who assisted us was named Jilani (sp?). I hope I recall that correctly because she was an excellent help."
"We truly enjoyed our stay! The property was fantastic and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our only complaint was the tv didn’t work great. It would stop and start very frequently. The staff came and reset it and it worked for a few hours, then started buffering again. Other than the TV, everything was perfect!"
