"Well, there were no towels in the bathroom, and the room doesn't come with a coffee maker or bottled water. I don't know if I've ever stayed in a hotel that didn't have these items. When we mentioned it to somebody at the front desk, she told us that this wasn't a five-star hotel so don't expect those things. (I don't think she was referring to the towels.) The lobby is nice, but for some reason it's always mobbed with people, and our room is quite nice as well. It's bigger than I expected for...

"I've stayed in maybe 8 different NYC hotels over the last 20 years and Soho Grand is by far my favourite one. Great location with beautiful, clean and spacious rooms. Top notch staff and service as well. Highly recommended."
