"There was nothing to like it was dirty windows was broken stained carpets had to ask for towels no in the room the quilt cover had stains on and the lift did not work tried other hotels but most was full"
"Positives: The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding and towels were immaculate.
The shower was a great temperature, albeit on the small size.
The view of the bay from my balcony was unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never woken to a better view.
The staff were friendly and my luggage was carried to my room. The check in and check out was fuss-free.
I believe there is parking available, though I used the long-stay carpark, just opposite.
Negatives: the rooms are VERY dated and in need of...
"Nice Hotel but the room i was in was not very clean. There were flies in there and when I asked if they could do something about the flies the receptionist said when I went out they would deal with the issue. They didn't. I came back late in the evening and went to bed thinking they had dealt with the fly issue. The TV remote was filthy as well. The carpet was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long while. In the morning the flies were still in the room but more flies. I managed...
"This was a great place to stay. Close walk to town and Pendennis castle.
I have heard many places with 'old world charm' and this definitely fits the description.
Loved the decor and history of the hotel."
"A bit tired. Could do with a good scrub and a coat of paint. Room ok. We only stayed a couple of nights. I would not have wanted to be there for a week. Pool and sauna very good. Shower by sauna very good. Hot tub and flooring near pool seemed like it could be cleaner. Breakfast buffet ok but much better ordering off the menu. Food in the restaurant for the evening meal was good. All staff were very good!"
"Super zentral gelegen und die Parkplätze auf dem Hof waren ideal. Sicher abgestellt und man kann von hier die Stadt super erkunden. Das Zimmer (Appartment) war in einem alten Nebengebäude aus dem 18. Jhd. Untergebracht. Sehr großes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Das Hotel selbst ist ebenfalls in einem alten Haus. Tolle Bar, einfaches und immer gleiches, aber sehr leckeres Frühstück. Full Englisch oder andere Spezialitäten kann man zu buchen. Alles in allem ein top Hotel mitten in Truro."
"It does what it needs to - bed for the night.
If you want hotel standard then this isn’t for you. It was reasonably priced and was simple. Parking was a bit of a pain but lucky that there weren’t many guests. Walls are thin and lots of stomping. Our room had no windows and a patio door that we struggled to close and can be accessed from other rooms so not the most secure."
"A great location to visit Falmouth town, close to Falmouth Town station.
Very smart room, comfortable bed, friendly and professional staff and a tasty cooked breakfast."
"The staff were really friendly and helpful, Parking was easy and on site.
The shower was not very powerful and the plug in the sink does not hold the water."
