"The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was really close to Halloween so I enjoyed that they were able to have some form of fun while still maintaining the building and doing their jobs. Room was clean. They replaced the bedding and towels everyday. The garbages were removed as well. They respected your privacy and items. (I had left my suitcase on the bed the first day, so they didnt change the bedding. Completely my fault.) The furniture is updated. I am super nervous about glass tops...

"5 star will stay again"

"We make this our 'go to' place to stay when coming to Nanaimo."

"Lovely, updated room. We really enjoyed the complementary coffee machine in the lounge and the fire table under the gazebo at night. We appreciated the fact that the parking spaces were large ( weird, but some hotels really pack in the spaces and you feel uncomfortable leaving your vehicle to be dented by other people’s doors). We also enjoyed that the bath towels were bath sheet size and new and fluffy! The little kitchen area was clean and well stocked for the 2 of us to have ‘minor’ meal prep...

"Fairly new property, attractive and evidently well maintained. Staff very obliging. Rooms very comfortable. The coffee maker and climate control are eady to use and effevtive - in our experience at other properties these essential amenities are more complicated and rarely function properly anyway. Good breakfast. The bed gets a 10/10 — king is larger than the usual king."

"Very good features & amenities. Well lit parking area. Room & bed very comfortable. Very quiet & clean. The free breakfast had more offerings than expected; delicious! Property was close to shops & sights. Will have to stay longer next time to take in the gym, pool, & hot tub. Was good to know a pool was available for use this time of year."

"Our room was very small but it had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and it was very quiet at night. There were plates and cups along with the grudge and microwave. We didn’t use them but it was nice to know they were there. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again."

"No heat in the room and door didn’t close properly"

"Very good"

"There was no heat in the room on a chilly night! Also, the maid just walked in at 9 am. this morning - she should have knocked - fortunately I was still in bed!"

"I gave it 4 stars because the main road runs between you and the beach. If you are not used to traffic noise like I am, traffic starts moving pretty early in the morning."
