The hotel was an excellent stop over for 1 night in a good location if you have a car. The reception desk was very helpful in providing alternative eating places in town. Continental breakfast was great but finished at 0930

We liked having a breakfast room, that made not having to rush out and find breakfast, a pleasure. This was one of the reasons we selected Days Inn. The website was misleading with pictures of the rooms. Our room was not like the pictures, which was a disappointment. I was hoping to be able to connect my iPhone to the tv, to be able to watch Craven and Netflix but it was not possible. The cable tv was sufficient, as we were able to watch a couple of BC shows. We had a late dinner at the onsite restaurant, Ricky’s. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and I was surprised by the great taste. Prices were decent. The waitress did get a bit upset when my wife asked for the whipped cream to be removed from her hot chocolate. Not a good experience with. All together, the stay at the Days Inn, in Nanaimo was a pleasant one.

We stayed for 4 nights, we had to go ask for extra towels because the room wasn’t cleaned or checked during our stay. The pool wasn’t very warm. The breakfast was ok. We had stayed at this hotel quite often about 8 years ago when our son was playing football with the Raiders it was our go to place to stay. Thanks

This hotel is very dated. There is little room to move around in the bathroom and no place to hang a towel. After shutting off the old style loud air conditioning, the room hot very hot. The continental breakfast was ok but overall this hotel is priced too high if you start comparing.

My friends and I stayed for just a Night here. The room we had I would say is quite big and cozy. The smell of the room is okay and not terrible. Some old building sometimes gives terrible smell but the room we have doesnt maybe because they have no inside smoking, which is nice. I think they keep the room clean but there was an old stained arm chair in the room. Im not a germaphobe but I would trust myself to seat in it. There was a burned out bulb in the sink area. I woulnd mind it but some wish they could have maintain it. The free breakfast they offer is okay and offeres basic items like cereals, waffles/toast/oatmeal/yogurt. The front desk service we had that night was very nice and accommodating, explained everything well to us.

We stayed for one night before we flew from Nanaimo after salmon fishing on the Island. The hotel was a close and easy drive to the airport. The check in staff were pleasant and helped us find somewhere to store our frozen fish for the night, which was great. The room itself left much to be desired. We booked a family room with bunkbeds. The bunk room was not well kept with dirty walls and poorly patched/painted walls. The comforter on the top bunk was stained and could use a good wash or replacement. The queen bed side of the room seemed a bit better but the AC unit in the wall was very loud so we couldn’t use it overnight. The bathroom was clean but very small, we also didn’t have enough towels for the 4 of us. The rest of the hotel seemed clean enough, the lobby was quite nice and bright. We didn’t utilize the pool area so can’t comment on that.
