"The Pell was an unexpected wonderful surprise. Very tastefully decorated, very nice staff and very spacious rooms. The beds were comfy, the bartender we saw nightly was amazing and there were some nice places to stretch your legs and meet others. We do wish the room coffee was better and the shower would have had shelves for personal toiletries or a stand in the shower, but otherwise we have no complaints! We would happily stay here again. "

"Overall the motel has everything you might want for a comfortable stay. From the must haves, cleanliness, amenities, and parking, to the nice to haves, decor, extras in bathroom. The one thing that made me lower my rating from 5 to 4 was the air freshener scent in my room and bathroom. It was so strong that all my clothes were saturated with it. "The Carriage House Inn was beautiful. The staff was very helpful. It was a great location and close to a lot of sites in Newport. This Inn had a bed and breakfast feel. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!"

"It took quite long to check-in because of computer problems. However, the person doing the check-in handled it very professionally. The room I got was small and lacked furniture (no closet nor shelves for toiletries in the bathroom). The room was clean."
