The only complaint the group and I had was that there is no air conditioning in the bathrooms so it is very hot. Overall the place was very good for groups of friends."

It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice.
