He then got more annoyed that he didn't have the right number for me because he mixed me up with a different lodger. "This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order."

"We had an amazing stay here. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. We loved the suite with its living area and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts could not have done more. So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. "

"A beautiful and historic building which feels like you are staying in a museum. The decor, furniture and fittings are all very old and tired but personally I felt it added to the charm. The sheets were clean and comfortable. Id stay again and recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a time capsule experience rather than a modern clinical renovated hotel"

"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!"

"Good rooms. Great restaurant onsite where I ate every evening. On my 1st day, I arrived past 9pm when kitchen was already closing but they still made me food which was nice. Location is not in the center of the town but this should obvious to anyone by looking at the map. The hotel is close to some nice hiking trails. Great place to rest after exploring Wales."
