"The hotel rooms decor needs a serious update, but that's a very superficial criticism. It provided everything you would expect from a hotel, was comfortable, quiet and felt safe. Decent bar, lovely staff and good breakfast. We had a room with a seaview, right on the prom, about 15-20 mins stroll from the pier and main hub of Llandudno and 2 mins from Venue Cymry. Couldn't really ask more for a cheap hotel, and it was cheap: 2 people, 2 nights, for £99. Bargain."

"Staff are fantastic. Views are brilliant. Its an old building so floorboards are creaking all through the night. I slept well but i can sleep anywhere, my partner didnt sleep well at all. You can hear doors opening all night, especially after 11pm when the bar closes. I would stay again but I'd be on my own 😂. Didnt try the food or the bar so can't comment on them"

"Hotel really nice, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Only a couple of things thst could be changed....tea spoons instead of wooden stirrers, biscuits in room, dog bed and bowl would be a nice touch too when u are staying with your pooch."

"Stayed in one of the lodge rooms after doing the Welsh Three peaks. Being able to park right outside the room was a really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the half price access to health spa was a real bonus. Will be staying again"

"Once again we enjoyed the “old world” character of the Bulkeley Hotel (what my late mother would have described as “decayed elegance.” This time we had a suite with magnificent views of the Straits and Snowdonia beyond One niggle is the absence of a fish choice for breakfast - kippers, smoked haddock? The coastal location begs the need for such choices. "

"The hotel is well situated close to the pier. Parking is limited but expected. Rooms were fine and had reauired tea/ coffee and en suite. Hotsl overall could do with a redecorate but the cost wS excellent and i would say well value for money. They do entertainment but not the night i stayed. Breakfast was excellent."
