This place was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and clean with lots of thoughtful amenities. It is a stones throw from the train station and close to the castle and the smallest house in Britain and the waterfront. We ate lunch in their pub upon arrival and tried the Italian restaurant up the street for dinner. Their breakfast was included and made to order. You should definitely stay here. They let us store our luggage because we arrived at noon and checkin was at 3 pm.
My stay at Y chapel was perfect in every way! The accommodations are actually in a previous chapel! I had floor to ceiling windows and a window above the bed. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent and what makes everything perfect is the staff! And manager there was extraordinary and I give it a 10 star! Karen.
Unique location, nice view out on a balcony facing the church. Bed was very comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful. From the Y Capel it's a short walk to the Erskine Arms Hotel for check-in, breakfast, the bar. Easy access to downtown activities in Conwy. Even when the castle is closed (due to filming of some made- for- TV dweeb series) you can still walk around a bit and enjoy the view. Nice sitting area in Y Capel which we did not use. And, the train station is very close to walk to as well as the picturesque city wall. I'd sleep there, if I were you. (Not on the city wall, in the Hotel, unless that's your thing).
The staff were quite friendly. The view from my balcony was amazing. The pub was very good. The town was one of our favorite stops. Viewed the castle, St Mary’s church, and took a short river cruise. All lovely.
Lovely stay in Y Capel. Check in really easy and parking onsite was fine. Room was absolutely lovely with a really comfy king bed and great bathroom. Breakfast was in the Erskine Arms and was really tasty. A fair few options on the hot menu and a choice of fruit, yogurts and cereal. We also ate in the pub in the evening and was a really nice meal.
One thing to note.... The church next door has a bell that chimes every 15 minutes as well as on the hour, all through the night. Our room faced the church and it you are a light sleeper like me it might wake you up in the night.
Obviously no fault of the property which was lovely throughout.
Excellent accommodation, clean room with little touches. Breakfast was amazing good choice with friendly service. Ideal location in centre with car parking.
The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Conwy with free secure parking. The room was pristine and had everything we could have needed for our stay and more. The staff were so welcoming and the food was delicious
A very central location within Conwy, just steps from the train station and a two minute walk from Conwy Castle.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The shower was very nice. The restaurant was cozy and felt like a local pub. The food was incredible (we had the chicken, scotch eggs and the duck hash brown). The staff was incredibly nice. Nothing but great things to share about this stay.
Staff, food, room, check in and experience 5*, would recommend and would go back.
This is not a bad review, just information housekeeping:
Instructions for parking were to park somewhere in the town centre but as we were staying in the chapel which had its own car park (code required), we were permitted to park in there. It’s not a problem but had we known that, we wouldn’t have spent 35 minutes driving round the full car parks of Conwy looking for a space pre-checkin.
We traveled 5 weeks and this was our favorite place to stay. Restaurant bar super! Breakfast outstanding! We’d live there if our our grandkids weren’t in the U.S.
