"We stayed in one of the small bungalows facing the beach and the view was amazing. The unit itself was reasonably large and generally comfortable. By us hotel standards, I'm comfortable saying this is a solid three and a half and potentially four Star resort. The quibbles are minor, a couple of bent corners on screens. A little adjustment needed to the shower water temperature faucet. The advantages are great. Thelocation is wonderful, both for walking on the beach and walking into town. I...

"Great stay not far from beaches and other activities."

"Ten North Tamarindo Beach Hotel was very clean, and the room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I really enjoyed my two-day stay."

"I had initial concerns about booking at this “container” hotel, but was completely blown away how much I liked my room & the facilities. As well, my receptionist MJ was awesome and a very enthusiastic & knowledgeable gal! Highly recommend this, I will use this hotel for all my future trips here! Pura Vida for sure!"

Parking is street parking, be prepared at night to be greeted by some fellas on the hanging out demanding money to park on the streets...

"Beautiful affordable, right on the beach. It was great"

"Great hotel and a very nice room. Pool was great as well. It might get quite loud from roads on the weekend. We stayed during the Halloween and didn’t sleep until about 2am."

"The lady that makes breakfast in the mornings was incredible. She was so sweet and attentive and it made our experience very amazing. The breakfasts were big and so yummy!!"

"This was our first trip to Tamarindo and we had a chance to walk the length of the beach and visit most of the properties facing the ocean. We definitely made the right decision to stay at the Ocho Bungalows! It's a little more private, quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city, but within easy walking distance of everything you could be looking for. The staff was first class, especially on the front end after we had made the resy, to see if there was anything they...
