"Lovely small hotel with direct access to the beach. Very smiley, attentive staff. Comfortable rooms, though the shower was a little disappointing. We enjoyed our meals, especially the fish stew. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel, having really enjoyed the three nights we stayed there. My husband would thoroughly recommend the massage which he rated one of the best and reasonably priced too!"

"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. Itā€™s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...
