The beach near the pizza shack needs sorting out though, just clear up the rubbish and old seaweed -It could be a beautiful spot!"
"This hotel and its amenities were subpar. The Wi-Fi hardly worked. The television was non-functional. The meals were not tasty. There are cats scattered all over the dining area when youāre eating. But the staff were great! "
"I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfectāclose to all the sights, yet quiet at night. A true gem in Stone Town. Highly recommended!"

"Absolutely amazing stay at Isaraya! Not enough words to describe the resort. The over water villa was magical, it was very spacious and had its own pool! The beach was immaculate with white sand and crystal clear water. There were sun loungers for us to use and a beach bar near the pool that delivered food and drinks. Both the restaurants had amazing food and the dinner buffet at Konokono restaurant was delicious. They also had local entertainment which was great. The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Room service was very efficient as well. Overall we will never forget our stay here and hope to come back some day!"

"We honeymoonāed at My Blue Hotel for 6 days and loved it! The hotel property is beautiful and clean. We chose the half board option, and really enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. There are also several nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner that are walking distance.
Furthermore, the staff were lovely. We had a smooth check in and check out experience and the cleaning staff left cute designs with towels and flowers on our bed for our honeymoon.
The rooms were good - had everything you need including bug nets! Staff would also spray the room in the evening to keep bugs away which was greatly appreciated.
The view of the beach was great and we didnāt have any issues getting a beach chair to sit on at any time of the day.
Highly recommend staying at My Blue Hotel!"

The food menu at the beach club is great, as the jetty restaurant. Breakfast is delicious too!

"Highlights:
- the food!!! Best all inclusive food Iāve had
- the staff!! They are SO friendly, polite and want to make sure youāre having a great time
- location. Stunning location on the beach. The grounds are lovely and you get to use Jambo next door also.
- House keeping! Amazing room decor every day.
Opportunities:
- entertainment is lacking, especially if itās raining. So bring some cards with you.
- our room door batteries had to be changed 3 times across 12 days, which seemed a lot. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
We loved staying here and had the best time. Sadly I got acute tonsillitis but the onsite doctors sorted me out (though Iāll neee to claim that back)
I, naively, didnāt realise there was such a tip culture so didnāt come with enough cash, so would recommend to others to have plenty of small notes in USD.
