"The property was great. The pool was convenient and there was plenty of sun chairs for the amount of guests. The resort has everything you need from a convenient store, massage, PADI shop and two restaurants. The happy hour is great but the food is so-so. The hotel staff are kind and very helpful. The staff at the restaurant are kind but sometimes on island time and orders aren’t always correct, which happens sometimes. Overall would recommend. "Deluxe room was more of a suite with separate kitchen area, bathroom & bedroom, Large balcony with both chairs and a twin hammock. Not plush by European standards but quite nice anyway. AC was great, wifi was good, food was good. A couple of silly rules, IE outside drinks will be confiscated but a nice stay."

"Fantastic boutique hotel in the middle of stone town. Staff were all fantastic and the room was exactly as in the photos. Loved the little historical items especially the coffee themed ones. Highly recommended "

"Property was well maintained.We came in June during slow season it was very quiet and relaxing.We had the 3b 2b villa.Management is awesome and helped with any issues we had for example hot water.There was a switch that we had to flip in order to turn the hot water on.Besides that we definitely would recommend staying at Mooshine. Torti the security guard is phenomenal.Regardless the time of day he will assist you. "

"This hotel is located in a great location and is super cute! The rooftop bar/pool/restaurant is really nice and the breakfast is fabulous!! We loved everything we had. The view from the pool is very nice and hip! The boutique in the hotel had very nice high end clothing and other neat stuff. The rooms are small but very nicely done and great bathroom amenities. I would stay here again for sure and I’m kind of a hotel snob but Upendo is super cute and decorated nicely "
