We had a great stay at Cielo Maya. Located right on the beach with a pier and some hammocks. Also has a pool and some swinging chairs. Breakfast was included and great considering all the options. Playa Esperanza is the perfect place to unwind, it’s super ideal for a couples getaway or honeymoon. All the staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside for me, it’s that not all of their rooms have AC, they’re an eco friendly hotel and there is no fridge, iron or hair dryer, and they shut the power for a couple of hours as they are running on generators. But I love that they care about the environment!

Beautiful hotel. We loved our room with the private pool/jet tub, as well as another main pool that overlooks the ocean. The entire staff was welcoming and went the extra mile to accommodate us. There is an onsite restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner as well. We did not have the chance to see it during our stay, but there is also a cenote down the road that is bike riding distance. Bicycles are available to ride. I would love to return again.

Kai is stunning! This is a this is a great hotel, if you would like a peaceful place to rest and reflect, swim and enjoy the Playa Paraiso. Great place to stay if you want easy, clean LARGE unit. Stocked kitchen makes it easy to save and cook meals. Large deck with table and hammocks overlooking the ocean and stairs to the beach isn't too shabby. 2 pools (1 adult and 1 kid) are very nice and there's a quiet, secluded beach right in front of you. Sea turtles nesting all over the beach. Great snorkeling in front of hotel and about a 15 min walk down the beach. Definitely a place to go if you want the "opposite of Cancun" experience.
