"What a stay! The hotel is spectacular, the room clean with a very comfortable mattress. The amenities are of a very high standard and very well maintained. If you are thinking about staying in this hotel, I can guarantee that you will have no regrets. The swimming pool on the rooftop is marvelous, and the piña colada the best I had in the area and very good price. For sure I want to return to Malta and specifically stay in this hotel again. My boyfriend and I are very happy with everything....

"This hotel is beautifully maintained. The rooms are well cleaned and all staff is very friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us make dinner reservations with a good choice. "The room was immaculately clean apart from a build up of mould on shower door. Views are unparalleled. The property is more faded glory than grand. 1980s high quality was evident but has not aged well. Overall property quality control definitely lacking. V dated decor and furniture that has seen far too many uses for its star rating. Peeling paint on railings, mismatched furniture with water rings, badly sized rug with curling edges, creating a trip hazard and dirty balcony windows are examples...

"The Solana is a fantastic hotel. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful - advising us what buses to get and where from (as the regular stops were temporarily closed), as well as advising us of all local discounts. Check in and check out were simple and deficient.
