"Our room was lovely.. The balcony although small overlooked the main square which was a bonus. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. The only negative was poor water pressure meaning the water flow in the shower was weak and not very hot. "

Mellieha is not a rowdy place, places to see like sunken church visited by St Paul, church in the square that looks out over the bay, plenty of eateries and places to stock up with food if needed. They're are quite a few hotels to select from.

Beautiful town, with religious santuary close by and also World War 2 Shelters. Lovely view from near the cemetery. Not so far from Gozo the sister island.

The city is nice- definitely visit the square by the cathedral for an evening. We hired a car which was really useful for exploring.

Mellieha is very small and there is not much to visit in the nearby surrounding, but it is close to many beaches (less than 10min taxi drive) and perfect for a quiet spot.

"Very good location, the hotel has variety of amenities and nice staff. The only thing that needs improvement is the rooms are with carpet and smells from the humidity. "

"We really lucked out with a stay at Doubletree in St.Paul’s. We had arrived after a few busy days in Valletta. The hotel offers a resort style stay which made the rest of our time in Malta so relaxing. The location cannot be beat. There is so much within walking distance, like the aquarium, restaurants & a grocery store nearby. In fact, you don’t even need to leave the hotel. It offers many food options, including a cafe and bar by their pools. We really enjoyed their wonderful breakfast buffet - with so many options for all members of a family. The view over looking the beach is great! The hotel is very well maintained, and all staff members were so friendly and helpful. If you are after a resort like stay with great amenities and central location - we would highly recommend The Doubletree. "
