"This is a very unique place to stay in the heart of downtown Valletta. Great walk ability to the restaurants and shops. A great view of the port. We were lucky enough to be there for the fireworks. You couldn’t ask for a better view. The staff were beyond helpful. It is an old hotel but they have maintained it very well."

"There are no elevators in this property, and the stairs are narrow and made of stone. Carrying a suitcase up to the second floor was a challenge, and carrying it down after my stay was a bit dangerous and no one to help. The property does make a point of stating that there is no elevator so i did know what to expect before booking a room. Also, extending my check out time by an hour was denied - i could have parked my luggage at a hotel at the other end of town, which would have meant either...

"Nice apartment just outside the busiest area of Valletta. All within walking distance of Valletta's main sites. Spacious apartment with bedroom, kitchen area and bathroom. Nice shared rooftop terrace with small jet-tub. However, there is no reception and we didn't have any housekeeping/cleaning for the 7 nights we were there, but we did receive some fresh towels towards the end of our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"The hosts were good at communicating ahead of time. When I arrived I was met promptly and shown a room different from my booking (3rd floor, not first floor). They then tried to charge me an additional and previously unmentioned cleaning fee (which I did not pay). The hot tub in the basement was not hot. "The location was perfect , the house is in the center close to everything! Unfortunately is not so clean and we had some problems with insects! However the owner was really helpfull and whatever we needed we communicate with him. For 3 or 4 nights i think is a good and cheap choise!"
