"The hotel is in a great location, quiet but close to the main town.The taxi had to drop us in the nearby street, but that wasn’t a problem. It was an easy walk to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where the lift takes you down to the ferry stops for the 3 cities and Gozo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was efficient and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. The area where it is served can be a bit crowded, but did not cause us any problems."

"We got off to a rough start when a brief municipal power outage caused the water in the shower and sink to stop. It took two engineers a couple of tries over the course of 15-30 minutes to get the water restarted. We were told ours was the only room impacted. After getting that sorted (they did find an open room where my partner could complete their shower) everything went smoothly. Room cleaned, amenities refreshed daily. Very pleasant staff. EXCELLENT LOCATION. I would highly recommend"

"Great location and hotel. My only disappointment was the quality of the produce used in breakfast. Not sure if the restaurant is owned by the hotel or just a partner, but felt it let the hotel down… eg orange juice out of a carton, even think the avocado was out of a tin! ( you know that off green, blackish tinged tasteless spread looking avocado) detail matters, and felt it was off point. As a result we did not bother eating there in the evening - plenty of other choice locally. Overall a great place to stay, and staff very helpful and friendly."

"The hotel has an excellent location in Valletta. Central but quiet. The staff are very caring and are anxious to please. They are very good at making recommendations and suggestions. The room was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was made to order with a good selection available. We had the hotel's private chauffeur for the day who showed us things about Malta we would not have been aware of. As part of this the hotel organised a private wine tasting at Ta Betta vineyard which was lovely. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel."

"The location for this property could not be better. You’re close to everything in Valetta but at the same time it’s incredibly quiet. The rooms are clean/simple and nothing fancy so be realistic in what you are getting and why you are getting it. For the price it’s worth it. The property should be more prompt in sending the confirmation details as a day before my trip I had no info. I do commend Hotels.com for their assistance in rectifying that. The only glitch with the property itself was the check in process as the buzzer code outside did not open the door. So I had to call someone. I figured out that it didn’t work because the front door has a second lock and if that lock is locked the buzzer does nothing to change that. Once I was able to get access and get my own key for the front door and my hotel door, the stay was seamless. The property should improve the instructions it gives and suggest using the key in the outer locked box when they first arrive if the buzzer code doesn’t work or just have someone on site when a guest arrives. Or update the front door. Overall the glitches didn’t take away from the vacation. The cleaning staff were kind and helpful."
