"Raj was amazing there was a mix up with our rooms so we got upgraded to a Seaview very good customer service. Rooms are clean and have everything you need and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again"

"If we visit this part of Malta again we will probably stay at Barceló Fortina. Location is great, the breakfast is fab and access to the gym is a bonus. Wasn't so keen on the pool although it was nice to have the option. Other than that, the staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful and the view from our room was breathtaking."

"This is a very unique hotel. Location is amazing. You are in the middle of Valletta. Clean and very friendly staff. The staff arranged our taxi for us for pick at 3 am. I would definitely stay at this property again."

"We were lucky enough to get a suite with a view of the harbor. The suite had a separate living room, so my sister and I each got our own space and separate air conditioning units. The suite was quite roomy with a lot of space. Hotel was fairly well located. We had an excellent view of Valletta and the entrance to the harbor. There were restaurants and shops close by and we were only a 10 min walk to the Ferry. This hotel was great and I would stay there again."

"Super nice front-desk staff, this is very important as it is always the first impression you have of the hotel. Check-in and out was very easy and seamless. Not sure if the hotel is old or just not very well maintained, but my room smelled very strongly of a musty odor which did not air out or disappear over the course of my stay, and which actually permeated my clothes after only a three night stay and travelled with me for the remainder of my vacation that I concluded in Gozo. The hotel is by the waterfront and Malta is humid, but I'm sure this cannot be the reason, otherwise all hotels in the same area would have the same issue. That being said, the hotel does give you free access to an awesome beach club across the street, and for the price you pay in this area compared to the other hotels nearby, it is an obvious choice. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was fine."
