"Cons: This is a tired boutique-ish hotel. The suite with hot tub was small (by American suite standards), the suite was dated, the caulking in the bathroom needed redone, the toilet ran, the balcony french doors were in disrepair. Pros: The staff was excellent throughout; pool, spa, sunbathing area, front desk, housekeeping, restuarant, etc. Top notch and is what made the stay enjoyable. "Wonderful location, friendly staff. Rooms, entrance lobby etc are very, very cramped. We struggled to get in and out on arrival/departure - luggage, no automatic door - but no one came to help us. Our rooms were functional but very small and not as clean as would be expected for the price. Breakfast was disappointing - poor quality coffee and far too many cakes at the expense of fruit, granola etc. Overall, this is an extremely expensive hotel which did not live up to the price."

"Easy location to walk to see things."

"I didn’t like old pillows and only two are provided for two occupants"

"Sauberes Zimmer, ausreichendes Frühstück, tolle Roof Top Bar, gute Anbindung ans Öffi Netz"

"Excellent breakfast, good bus service to Colosseum and center of Rome"

"The breakfast choices were expansive - including all they could think of to please foreign travelers- however, the eggs were always cold and the pastries were lacking. I would have loved to have had a legit buttery cornetto instead of a soft bready thing that looked like a croissant. But that is the only complaint I can come up with. The staff was fabulous and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and we loved having aperitivo on the rooftop bar."

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Looked after all of our needs including booking us a water taxi to the airport. Check in was smooth, continental breakfast was great. Overall a great hotel with a convenient location. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone."

"Very good service and generous."
