"While the app makes requesting dining reservations simple, actually securing a spot at the specialty restaurants is a challenge. The property gets quite crowded, which unfortunately leads to disruptive behavior from some guests, particularly around alcohol. I saw a couple of incidents escalate, and the security presence felt inadequate to manage them."

"long distance of walking required throughout the property. long wait for shuttles. No beach towels at the entrance to the beach area, need to walk far end of the pool to get one. Mitra restaurant had buffet but replenishments of the food was horrible. Small quantity placed. low quality liquor. Must purchase upgrade to get premium liquors. Specialty restaurants were excellent, food was outstanding and the service was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. You must ask for beach chair at the...

"This resort lived up to our expectations. It was more expensive than other places, but they lived up to the expectation and went above and beyond in many different areas. We went for a honeymoon and they gave us many upgrades and made our experience really special. Food prices are high, but if you’re smart, you can still enjoy your time and pick some lower cost items that are fantastic."

"Property is outdated, pictures on website do not reflect current property status. Does not have multiple restaurants. Mold , everywhere."

"Pools were excellent"

"This place is amazing!!! Location, service, amenities, and everything else that offers is top tier! And what makes this place even better are the prices VERY AFFORDABLE in compared to other places nearby. Definitely, I will be back and also will recommend this place to all my friends and family. Plus, the view to the volcano is incredible!!! Este lugar es espectacular!!! Todo lo que ofrece (locación, el servicio al cliente, las instalaciones) no hay nada de que quejarse. Es demasiado lindo!...

"Staff were great! Amazing service"

"We had a great time here, everyone was friendly and helpful. Our pool side bartender Ceaser was the best!! The rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job. They even gave us fun designs with our blankets! Food was delicious and they were very accommodating. Very relaxing and family friendly atmosphere"

"Everything was great!. Except for being harassed on the beach since it was public to everyone it seemed. But it Definitely worth the price, the staff and bartenders were great! I was a little disappointed in there not being a 24/7 sports bar but luckily we found everything we wanted to watch on the few TVs they had and in the room. No hot tub...

"Lo mejor: la vista, excelente restaurante, calidad de sueño. Por mejorar: mantenimiento de grifos. En desayuno podrían mejorar el pan y repostería y ampliar área de café."

"El hotel espectacular, muy limpio y sus piscinas termales 100/10,los tragos en todos sus bares muy buenos al igual que el desayuno."

"Great stay in La fortuna. Close to everything and beautiful grounds. We stayed in the Chato suite and it was awesome. People were all nice and even took us to see a sloth on the grounds. Breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend and will be back."
