"Alexandra went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She made a fruit smoothie and coconut snack as a welcome treat. The Tico studio was very functional and fit the jungle environment.
The bed was very comfortable and with the sound of the rain I fell asleep quickly and awoke refreshed. Honestly the best sleep and rest if the trip.

Communication with the host was excellent—he went above and beyond by arranging for his dad to check me in at 1 PM, an hour earlier than the standard check-in time. Pool area was lovely and tranquil with a great hot whirl pool for relaxing in after morning activities
The free afternoon yogo with Jeremy was fantastic and so nice after a day tubing
The trail walks were great for bird spotting and we had a nice swim in the Rio Celeste at the bottom

It is a 2 minute walk up beach, this beach is quite rustic and a few more minutes to walk to more sandy beach.
My only con was the outdoor grounds could have used a power wash and the pool sitting area was dirty and slimy. "
