"The Rancho de Lelo was AMAZING! When we arrived, Beatriz was so kind to us and very helpful. She helped us planning activities and she recommended restaurants. It was probably the best welcome that we ever experienced at a hotel! The Rancho is located on a great property. It's beautiful, peaceful and very quiet! It's a family-owned hotel. They even have their own coffee plantation. The rooms are private "cabanas", so cabin style. The breakfast is delicious. The pool has nice clean natural water...

Get ready for some exercise if you are walking. The hills are fierce. Taxis seemed easily available. I went on a night walking tour, the original zip line experience and a bird watching tour. All three were excellent with amazing guides.

Great area to visit with a lot to do. Eveything from wildlife spotting to zip lining. Santa Elena village has coffee shops, souvenir shops, and even a small art gallery for those who prefer a less outdoorsy experience

Monteverde is a great place, full of adventure activities to share in family or with friends. Except for the walk on the Cloudy Forest, adventure activities are not very appropriate for children.

"Wonderful stay here! The service at the front desk was excellent the gentleman helped with our bags. Also the service in the cafeteria, and restaurant was spectacular! "
"Love the property. The restaurant faced the Arenal volcano. You would have breakfast with the amazing view of the volcano. The property was well kept with beautiful flowers, nature and fauna all around. The pool was awesome too. I enjoywd that rhe cabins were independent and not atrached amd gave more privacy and less noise (from the room next door). The cabins were cleaned daily and although the cabins should their roustic decor, but everything was clean, beds were comfortable and no funky odors. They even have a humidifier in the room which made a huge difference. If we go back, we definitely look forward to staying at Lomas again. "
