"Parking was fine . Room was simple and clean . Balcony with ocean view was exactly what had been described . This is the only hotel we've stayed in that delivered."

"The room was clean, but the refrigerator made noise and we had to unplug it. There is no staff here. Check in on a kiosk. The best part is the location. We walked to the beach and saw a lot of sea lions in the morning."

"Overall, we had a good stay. When we first checked in, our room key didn’t work and we had to go back to the front desk. Once inside the room, we also noticed noise from upstairs guests and a crack in the ceiling that made us a bit uncomfortable. However, the staff handled the situation well. I asked to switch rooms, and they were able to move us to a second-floor room right away. The new room felt much better—less stuffy, no strange smells, and overall more comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight. There were plenty of options including scrambled eggs, beef patties, bagels, English muffins, waffles, yogurt, cereal, juice, and coffee—definitely a solid start to the day. One unique thing to note: between around 3–5 AM, you can hear sea lions nearby, and the hotel may sound a horn to scare them off. It’s interesting, but if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, I appreciate how the staff resolved the issue quickly and made sure we were comfortable for the rest of our stay."

"House is in a great location for local beach access, views, grocery shopping, eating and 20 mins to Trees of Mystery and 10 mins to the start of the road to Grove of Titans. House has many amenities. Definitely a rental. And ask for what you might need for cooking to make sure it is stalked. "
