"Beautiful antique, old-fashioned vibe. Although the property is definitely dated, it was CLEAN and felt SAFE. The location was perfect for us after visiting Trees of Mystery and continuing on to Gold Beach. It was a great place to rest and recharge after a long day of driving, and I would definitely stay here again. The downside is that there isn’t much to do in the immediate area, and there are limited food options. There’s also no Starbucks in town, if that’s something you’re looking...

"Check in went fine until I informed the guy I was traveling with a service animal. I was charged the pet fee due to having no “papers”. When asked what he specifically wanted he said it was a management policy and needed “papers”. Room seemed to have been recently renovated with evidence of painters tape and paint splotches on the floor. Parking was handicap accessible but the lot is tight. Curtains in room do little to nothing to block the daylight once the sun comes up."

"Room was dated but thankfully clean. Linens and towells were acceptable and bed was good. Overall the stay was comfortable and reasonably priced. Check-in was strange as it was thru a computer screen with a guy in India. Did not feel right and left us fealing strange about the whole event. Policies were very accommodating as we had to change several reservations last minute for our eight rooms which were accomplished without penalty. "We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the harbor and some marsh wildlife. The real gem here is the complimentary breakfast in the morning. It was much better and abundant selection than I was expecting. I had thought maybe it would be some pastries, maybe yogurt and coffee, but there was also cereal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereal, fresh fruit, and juice! This was a great stay for a family traveling on a budget!"

"The only nice thing about this place was the view... Which you have to open a filthy window to get a glimpse of. I gave the staff 2 stars only because they refunded me a little for giving my room away. I paid for a balcony because I knew the view"

"There are lots of great points about this property but a couple of drawbacks as well. The room (and landing area) is very provisioned with amenities - there is microwave, fridge-freezer, boiling vessel, crockery and cutlery. As well as hairdryer, bathrobes and plenty of towels. The property is at the end of a graded road (not paved) this was no problem for us but some may not like that. Accessing the property requires a door code which wasn’t sent to us in advance but there was a phone number on...

"We stayed at three different hotels, all within two blocks of each other right there in the same area and this was at least 50% better than the others. It’s very clean very well maintained the bed was comfortable. That was a big deal compared to the other hotels very good what you’re paying I pay like 150 tax and all for that area. That’s a good deal if you’re not looking for five star perfection Chain type Motel this is a good little Hotel."
