"The hotel is lovely but a massive downfall in check in was my room was ready and set up as a family room after constantly asking for it to be set up and getting nowhere getting told someone’s on their way up. It should be done now. finally after refusing to leave reception without a staff member coming with me to do it there and then kids were shattered very stressful and up far beyond bedtime!"

"Interior has been done really well, in keeping with the grade 2 listing. Overnight stop or max 2 days stay ok. Otherwise it's a bit basic. I did not like how run down the outside was. Pipes looking ancient and covered in bird poo and close to air conditioning unit is concerning. Some of the sash windows need replacing. Parking is £7 a night but not run by hotel but quite a bit for this. Car park at rear needs the seating revisited as the furniture is falling apart, should be somewhere you can...
