We've stayed here several times now and always enjoyed our stays. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the bar and restaurants offer a good range of food and drink and the wife particularly enjoys taking a dip in the indoor pool. Staff are friendly and efficient. Already looking forward to our next stay

Absolutely spotless room and much larger than expected with a sofa and coffee table. Comfy bed, the room could do with a little fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. It was cooked fresh rather than buffet style, if I hadn't been in a rush I would have asked for seconds! Unfortunately the hot tub was getting emptied at 1530 when we checked in so we weren't able to use it but we were offered the opportunity to use it past the usual closing time when it was expected to have reached temperature. We appreciated the offer but declined so cannot comment on the pool/hot tub area. The gym very basic and squashed into a small space near the leisure counter. I expected it to feel alot more old fashioned so was pleasantly surprised. Pretty garden area.

No air con in the room just a very noisy fan and a window that hardly opened meaning it was very uncomfortable to sleep in the room. Got woken up by the fire alarm going off in the hotel at around 9.30am and all had to leave the hotel, no explanation as to why it went off, just told to go back in the hotel. No offer of compensation like a later check out or anything. Staff are nice, especially the cleaners. Probably would’ve been a nice stay in the winter with no fire alarm as a wake up call.
