"I checked in later on in the evening and was greeted really warmly and given a tour of the hotel. The room was warm and very bright, with beautiful views over the garden. The next morning at breakfast, I had a wonderful service from Marcio who was so cheery and helpful. The staff at this hotel are amazing and the location is perfect for a lovely walk in nature as very near a country park, literally 2 mins right out of the hotel. Would visit again."

"Last minute booking, so not much time researching. Room was small but clean, tea and coffee making facilities. Shower was good and. Could not hear the live band that was playing, but had some noise off the street. Would have scored more but the staff were a bit rude when I asked for extra pots of milk. Good location, only on street parking. "

"We went with friends. Had a great time in buxton. The hotel is very grand looking. Love the oldie worldie look. Breakfast was good. If I had one thing to say I would say the bedroom was slightly tired looking. But we was hardly in it, but if we were staying longer I would have liked it a bit better. Pretty basic. But overall we would definitely stay here again. Great location. "
