I stayed over the night before a very early flight. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Bed was uncomfortable and facilities were outdated. I was on the third floor meaning that I had to carry my suitcase up two flights of stairs.

Huge line checking in, extremely slow front desk employees. Bar / Restaurant staff extremely slow and one women in restaurant was quite rude but she was basically alone (short staff) and she appeared quite stressed out One young man named Jamie at he bar was wonderful and friendly. Shuttle to airport very convenient. Overall it served it's purpose for early flight the next morning.

Great two nights stay at the airport Inn and spa. Car parks were busy but we found somewhere easily enough, check-in was straightforward pleasant and friendly. We had a family room which was well-maintained clean with lots of great amenities. Drink drinks in the bar and dinner in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably well priced, breakfast was fantastic. Serve from 530 with hot from seven. Can’t complain great value well looked after friendly staff a lovely two night break thank you.

Britannia usually gets a bad rap and I’ve stayed in an awful one before at Manchester airport, but this is by the far the nicest Britannia and also nicer than other hotels - and our room was super cheap! We had a twin room, beds were very comfy, bathroom basic but clean, ironing board, hairdryer and fan. Food and drinks were good - gluten free choices too which was great - plenty of seating in the sunshine. Return airport shuttle is £14

Lovely staff. Lovely food. (The best peppercorn sauce ever may I add!). Our stay was so lovely prior to our holiday that due to the arrival time on our return flight I decided to book again. When we got there the reception staff were very accommodating, the kitchen was closed (we checked in at 1.30am) and they made us food, ensured we were comfortable and were so welcoming. I totally forgot to take their names but they made our second stay just as good as the first. The only slight downside for us what that we were unable to get a coffee in the reception area when checking out although we could go to the onsite fitness centre. Parking was very simple. I had an unfortunate experience after booking with holiday extras at a different hotel previously so was unsure how my experience would be, this was the complete opposite. I will certainly stay again and have already spoken to family and friends about positive this was in comparison. Thanks so much!

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean enough for an overnight stay, which was ideal for being close to Manchester Airport. However, the room was extremely hot during our stay, with temperatures around 30°C. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and when we raised this, we were told that the hotel didn’t have air conditioning, despite there being air-conditioning units in the rooms. We were given a fan, but unfortunately the windows couldn’t be opened, so there was very little way of cooling the room down. It made sleeping very uncomfortable. Overall, the comfortable bed was a positive, but the lack of effective ventilation or working air conditioning in such hot weather really let the stay down. I would not recommend this stay at all.
