"Had a great stay here in room 6. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was great, the included breakfast was AMAZING and the location was perfect for exploring the area. "

"Room has areas of improvement re cleanliness eg mould on bathroom mirror, dirt on footstool in bathroom and hair on bedroom floor. Water in the evening was like warm, in the morning it was hot. The outdoor pool looked inviting but it wasn't open to use. Breakfast was good but toaster extremely slow. Parking was good. "

"Contact with owner was only made the day before I travelled after I had been chasing but after that contact was very easy and he was very pleasant to deal with. Easy check in. Very clean on arrival and great hot tub. Small supermarket nearby and 10 minute walk to centre. Unfortunately we experienced alot of maintenence issues during our stay which werent all remedied so therefore i am unable to recommend the property as a luxury property"

"What a fabulous stay at the Duke. The room was lovely and spacious and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Every detail was superb from our Welcome from the front desk, the buffet breakfast and the excellent location. Our only downside….our two day stay was not long enough!!! We will be back for more!"

"Firstly, the check in process was simple. Secondly, the location was great for what I wanted to do...walking distance to explore Victoria and a short Bolt ride to Nadur. Thirdly, the place is cute and all I needed for a couple of nights whilst exploring Gozo.I met Jeremy briefly as he helped resolve the first lack of internet connection, and he was friendly, helpful and chatty.The reasons for the 3 stars...The first star related to the mattress is past its use by date and you can feel each spring in it, which didn't make for a great night's sleep. The pillows were great, the mattress not so much. The second star related to the road noise - if you like a late sleep on your holidays, bring your ear plugs, because the road is surprisingly busy, Maltese drivers love a heavy right foot, and the door isn't sound proof, so the cars sound like they are driving through the apartment. A heavyweight floor to ceiling curtain, I expect would make a huge difference. Finally, the internet was very hit and miss. Jeremy fixed the first outage but the second one occurred when I arrived home too late to bother him and remained an issue on the last morning."

"Room 18 is one of our favourites! As clean and comfortable as always, and spa pool is wonderful, even in dodgy autumn weather. Our favourite hotel! Looking forward to returning in May."

"We enjoyed a fantastic stay at Ta Spiru and we were very sad to leave today. The photos do not do the place justice, it is even better. House was spotless throughout and well equipped with enough plates, cutlery, glasses, towels and seating for everybody. We loved spending time in both the pools and the view out to Victoria from the front terrace. Excellent laundry facilities, kitchen and barbecue. The location was spot on, extremely quiet but with Xlendi only 5 minutes away by car, or you could walk there. My family and I (British and Maltese) have been coming to Gozo ever since I was a child and I am 29 now, we have stayed at various villas and farmhouses and this one is was by far our favourite. It is finished to a very high standard. The AC works a dream. The hosts are fantastic, super friendly and helpful, communication quick and clear. We are already looking to come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay. I cannot fault a single thing about this property, and I am known in my family for being fussy!"

"Would definitely stay at this home again. The only downside is beds were hard and on the small side.It was very clean inside and out. Pool was a plus."
