"We went there for Memorial Day weekend, so it was very busy. Location was great, just a short drive to the nearest beach that was really nice. Hot tub was a bit smaller than expected, so be ready to get cozy with some strangers. Pool water was perfect temperature and nice size. Breakfast was definitely a hit with the waffles, but with only one waffle maker you definitely had to wait or get lucky with the timing when there wasn’t a line of kids trying to make waffles. "Basic, but great for our stay. Clean and quality bedding and towels. Friendly hosts. Outdoor seating areas and complimentary surf boards and wetsuits to use. My husband loved it."

"Parking in front of motel door. There was lots of freeway noise during the night. I probably noticed because I'm a light sleeper. Everything else was great. Clean room and comfortable bed."

"The building and room were excellent. I parked off street and was steps from my room. I ordered a pizza and the delivery was smooth! The bed was amazing and I loved the sheets! The bathroom is upgraded and nicely done. I had an appointment early and the Villa is centrally located in San Clemente and the traffic was good too! I enjoyed my stay and will return! Christy B"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Always Inn very much! Freda was an amazing and welcoming host who enjoyed sharing her property with us. And Sunday breakfast with her definitely needs to be experienced; an amazing quantity of delicious foods that took up the entire table top! We'll be visiting again soon!"

"We paid extra because of the holiday weekend. Got to our room and there was a couple obnoxious fans blowing because apparently the ac was out but they failed to tell us that. Room got up to 80 degrees. Maintenance was supposed to come and never did. Housekeeping the next day came to the door to clean as we were leaving and said they would come right back but never did. So our room was dirty and no towels all weekend. Room appeared to not have been cleaned well before we got there as we kept...

"Could not get the TV to work. Porch lights are on all night. The curtains do not block it out all the way. Lots of stairs, be prepared for that. Otherwise, the location is fantastic. And even though we didn't use the beach towels and chairs, it was nice to know that we could."

"This hotel charges $15 a night to park for some odd reason and I wasn’t told this by check in associate . Apparently it is shown in the fine print on Expedia if opening up more details page . Don’t get satisfied the price is ok before considering the added $15 to park which they actually charged $16.50 a night for anyway ."

"We walked from train station and did not have an automobile at the site. Yet--we were charged for valet parking of a vehicle---$55 despite telling the desk that we did not have a vehicle and did not need valet parking. Please correct this error. "
