"As soon as I checked into the hotel, the staff tried to overcharge me. I reserved a room for 2 adults and a child age 17 on the Expedia website. I prepaid for the hotel on the Expedia website. The staff tried to charge me for an extra Adult in the room. In addition, I prepaid for breakfast on the Expedia website. The breakfast was for all guest. The hotel staff REFUSED to let us have 3 breakfasts. I never would have prepaid for breakfast if it was only 2 people (~$50/person) is crazy when the hotel only charges like $30. Anyway this entire experience was terrible and I will never go to Imperial Hotel again."

"I was looking for a centrally located hotel to act as home base for my tokyo stay and was very disappointed. I knew the room sizes would be small so I had no issue with the size. However, the room had a certain smell to it that showed it had not been sanitized in a while. This smell was both in the bathroom and in the carpet - just smelled like funk. Additionally, the curtains were not clean and had small moth bite holes in them. The property itself is sprawled with open boxes in the hallway, dark, and does not seem to be maintained. The AC also went on and off throughout the night. The only thing I liked was the water pressure and the fact that it is connected to a Family Mart. I wouldn’t stay here again nor advise any of my friends or family to stay here either. "

"Boutique Hotel. Beautiful interior and rooms. Rooms are a little small and very basic amenities. The free lounge didn't match the aesthetics of rest of the hotel. Could make it a little nicer"

"Staff was extremely attentive at every interaction we had with them even though we were not at the hotel that often during our stay. They gave recommendations for anything we enquired about too. Extensive array of amenities available in case you forgot anything. Hotel was unbelievably quiet too! Rooms were small but extremely efficient and beds were very comfortable. Located near the Shimbashi train station gave us access to nearly every location in Tokyo via the train system. Highly recommend!"

"The property was centrally located in the Gion district, close to the shopping streets. 7/11 and family mart were conveniently located at a 2 min walk in case you wanted a midnight snack or early breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the property was pristinely well kept. They provided skin care packs, tooth brushes, pjs and even hair ties and hairbrushes which was super amazing! Would 100% stay again!"
