"Excellent location, just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and great pool area, with drink service - which was awesome. The pool gets a bit crowded, as it's large... but not huge for those big warm weather crowds. Three gripes ... The first being the most annoying by far - the WiFi was abysmal. Only worked on n off during our 3 days there, and when it was working, it was spotty and unreliable. I had to go out to my car to get a cell signal and get on a meeting with personal hot spot. The second, very minor, gripe is that the chairs on the room balcony were so terribly uncomfortable, that they were just about unusable for more than a few minutes. Third, the pool area was absolutely littered with old drink containers and trash every morning, obviously left over from guests from the night before - but that's more on the guests than the hotel staff. But that's all, overall very nice place. "

"The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the balcony was nice, even though there was chipping paint on the floor. The pool was good altough the bar service was not operating. In fact, the bar was not staffed during the day which was an inconvenience while at the pool. The location is perfect. The shuttle service was an added plus. "

"The view was great, the room was very clean and nice. The staff were nice, but seemed untrained and completely unaware. One wait staff stopped everything to hunt for his cell phone (he was starting to make a drink at the time). We saw Easter brunch signs, so asked staff in the restaurant and they didn’t know when it started or if we needed reservations and neither did the front desk. At the bar someone may or may not serve you. The umbrellas at the pool kept falling over and were really heavy (one hit someone) We told one of the staff and she said, “and did you see how many towels people are using?”. They weren’t rude or not nice, it was kinda weird."

"The pool area was clean and excellent. The rest if the facilities were in rather poor conditions. You can tell our room had a lot of water damage at some point, walls we worped, areas with damage were just painted over. Everything was extremely old. Carpets were not the best condition. Overall if your not too worried about the way your hotel looks, it was alright. The kids really enjoyed the pool. "

"We had a truly wonderful stay at your establishment. The fitness center was exceptionally well-equipped and a pleasure to use. We also thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing swimming pool. The convenient coffee shops provided a delightful amenity for our mornings and afternoons. Furthermore, the hotel's prime location made exploring the surrounding area effortless."

"Apparently this hotel is under new ownership and it shows in the worst ways possible. The staff at the front desk were some of the rudest people I’ve ever had check me into any hotel in my life. One staff person, older woman with brown hair, was insanely unpleasant not just to me but to the people who were in front of me at check in and check out. There was another guy at the front desk with white hair who seemed to just straight up ignore people as they came in. Our room was not ready at 3 and we ended up having to wait until 4:15-ish for it. The new owners are now asking patrons to pay for parking in their lot which is something they’ve never done at this hotel and doesn’t make sense for the area of Palm Springs they’re located in. Our water temperature in the room never actually got warm, no matter how long we waited for it to heat up. We’ve stayed at the Ace for years now and this was the first time it was a bad experience. I’ll be staying at one of their neighbors who have more reasonable prices the next time I stay in Palm Springs. The only bright spot was one staff member who was checking people in (she wears glasses). She was very friendly, very helpful and is clearly too good to be stuck working at Ace these days. Hoping a better opportunity comes her way soon."
