"I traveled by myself for an event. First time I have ever been in the state of Washington. The communication between the owner and myself through email was very straightforward and very helpful. When I got to the location, the owner took the time to explain everything for me and to go over numerous maps, food, menus, and discuss the many things in the area for me to do. This location has every single thing that you need to be comfortable and happy on your vacation. I did not want for anything. Full-size bathroom, kitchen with electric range and oven, several coffee, makers, toaster, blender, frying pans, boilers, dishes, coffee, cups, and I’m sure there were other things that I didn’t use that were there. There is a washer and dryer, which was a great benefit after a four season vacation.The host took the time to come down and sit with me and speak while sitting on the most stunning views of Puget sound. I was able to sit out there by myself and only hear birds. I could not hear traffic or any city noises. Being from Atlanta this was a blessing. Peaceful and beautiful. The apartment had a big window where I could sit and eat if it was too cold or rainy outside. Very classy. The shower had great. There was nothing I did not like about this rental.I wanna make sure that I also reiterate that the owners were very nice and very helpful. Next time I visit, I will be bringing my husband and staying longer. This is hands-down, my favorite stay inside the United States."

"We were attending a wedding on Vason Island for the weekend. We were fortunate enough to find this lovely place on the water an older place built in the 1930s but updated and very cute and comfortable could not beat the setting literally over the top of the water. A big plus is they are dog friendly, and allowed us to bring our two by labs with us. The cabin was very well stocked blankets and a very friendly kitchen. Erin was very easy to work with during our stay communication was always excellent and on time. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to return on our next trip to Vashon. "

"We had a great stay at Papakea, it was the perfect spot for our family. The condo had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Great location! The host was great at communicating and provided great suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend!"

"The beach studio took our breath away the moment we walked in and the surprises just kept coming. It has everything you'd ever need and more. As the sun started to go down I sat quietly in the garden....birds flew in to eat from the birdfeeders....then two squirrels came to eat the seeds the birds dropped. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better a hummingbird came and hovered in the flowers on the table right in front of me THEN a tiny chipmunk popped out to eat the birdseed with the squirrels!!!!The bed was comfy...the air-conditioning was so good we had to ask for it to be turned down and then it was perfect. The people from the island are very friendly and helpful.The only downfalls were there was nowhere to hang my clothes and we could hear every footstep from upstairs which went on all day during our stay and was a bit annoying.We absolutely recommend staying here you won't regret it."
