A nice safe area, some nice local shops and lots of eateries to choose from. A car is a must though as it is spread out and not really walkable except for downtown.

I lived in this area for 30 years and missing the cooler mild climate. I planned to retire in Colorado because my oldest friends are here. I miss the small town feel of Issaquah and the seafood is amazing.

Issaquah itself is actually a very nice place, with a lot of amenities continently located nearby. Just sad the hotel experience didn't make it a comfortable visit.
