The Inn at Pleasant Beach did not disappoint. We stayed in the 1-bedroom luxury suite. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bed was firm, a little too firm for me but comfortable enough for a two-night stay. I fell in love with the pillows they have on hand - they were so amazing that I am trying to find some to purchase for our own house. The staff at the check in desk were friendly and welcoming. There is a Keurig in the room that is actually well stocked with creamer and plenty of options for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We didn't get visit the pool or gym but plan to next time. There are restaurants just a quick walk away and downtown is 10 minutes away. We loved our stay here and plan to come back again.

Buyer beware. We were in #3 and could hear all the steps of the upstairs occupant - waking us up an hour earlier than planned. They refused to extend checkout (from 10am to 11am on a wet Tuesday in November when only a few rooms were occupied) without charging an additional $50 per hour. This was a splurge of a night for us (almost $500 all in). I’ve never had a hotel decline such a request and certainly never had one that suggested I pay extra.

We loved our stay and plan to come again. Unique property and the perfect escape from the busy city. The property has gorgeous plants and gardenscapes (We stay in the Garden units) throughout and is very well maintained by the staff. We were a little bummed to see their main restaurant was no longer operating but we easily had other plans lined up. Great shops to walk to, visit the Barkery for morning bites and coffee at the Market, less than and 3 min walk. We look forward to our next visit!

The room was clean but it wasn't a big room. I didn't like that checkout was at 10am (although we left earlier) and that it was additional $50 per extra hour that we were there. Hotels don't do that, so that was a surprise. No microwave either. Overall, it was acceptable, but it wasn't worth the price charged (over $300 per night). I was expecting considerably more for that price. I won't be staying there again.

Very nice and pretty room. Clean, with a large bathroom. Area around the property includes several good dining options. Seems a bit overpriced. Staff were polite but not well-informed about several things and not good at listening to concerns.
