"Very spacious as mentioned by owner traditional furniture perhaps a little update ie sofa! and a couple of extra towels, Overall good and enjoyed our stay cannot fault area, lovely friendly people especially the bar downstairs. "The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

"Such a warm welcome, great hotel in an amazing location. The room was a little small for our tastes, but nothing that would diminish the enjoyment of our stay. The full breakfast was lovely touch and I can’t overstate how accommodating the staff were. They really made the stay a luxury. "

"It was a nice house however the mattresses need an upgrade. There were some issues with some comforters with stains on it. Nice welcome package however garbage bags, dishwashing pucks and basic spices, like salt and pepper would have been nice. "

"The overall experience was great, the only complain we had was bathroom shower curtains was not clean (I am assuming it was a miss considering the low cost of replacing it ) the owner was very responsive and very helpful when we lost our set of keys. "
