"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

"We really enjoyed our time here, the location was great. Lots of restaurants and shops along the avenue. Beach was also great, beautiful sun and sand. Very easy access. We did not use parking garage, but we were able to find parking on the street."

"Great place for a family reunion. Close to the beach, in the middle of the Algarve, pool, lots of room, well equipped kitchen, beautiful space for a large group. Pool guy was great, cleaning staff excellent. Needs a few things fixed: gate to parking area didn't work, fridges missing shelves and freezing open, toilet water leaking into pool, pool skimmer didn't work, air conditioner in one room didn't work. All reported on the first day but not fixed in a month stay."

"We were a group of 8 adults and we had a lovely time at the vila. There was plenty of space for everyone with 5 beautiful large bedrooms, 4 of which are en-suite. The vila is beautifully decorated with a taste of luxury. and a chill out spot in the basement with games. There is plenty of outdoor space too with a great pool,

and plenty of loungers. It is a short 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, which is very convenient and an even shorter walk to the beach. All in all...
