"Paid a large amount for a deluxe sea view double and when we got there it was a small double. The furniture was old and bits out of the chairs. The balcony was filthy. Asked to move and was given another room . Bigger but not much better. Very old. Breakfast was food sitting for a long time. Cold plates were supplied.

"The staff and facilities were the highlight of an excellent family stay. The apartment was comfortable, well set up, spacious and clean. Swimming every day after a hearty breakfast. Everyone working there were friendly, super helpful and made us all feel very welcome. Looking forward to coming back soon"
"Lovely, spacious rooms, environment considered (no silly plastic cups/shower caps). I saw the pool and jacuzzi water being tested twice whilst we were there.
Only thing was that we had to pay for parking, but that was because we booked with a third party. Book with hotel.
Breakfast lovely, maybe a few more pastry/bread choices needed."
"Location is excellent, meals were very good, plus gluten free, and vegetarian options, staff were friendly, and helpful, evening entertainment good, building and bedrooms need updating. Close to shops, bus and train stations."
"Property location is great with free transport to Salcombe town or Ferry from beach adjacent to hotel. Hotel room/accommodation had great view but was small. This was disappointing when considering the tariff for two rooms /4 nights accommodation. The bedroom lacked soundproofing, disturbed nights sleep for three nights due to noise from young children in next room, spoke to receptionist with little response! Continental/Buffet Breakfast included was very satisfactory and good.

"Poor bedding, really loud canalisation pump. Really smelly bathroom. Bed view. I couldn't sleep at night as bed wasn't comfortable. Also didn't take a shower 🚿 As it's really smelly room. Pool is public and it's quarter a mile from here. Breakfast was really okay, but after bad night of poor sleep I wasn't enjoying it. Bed is uncomfortable, but sea view advertise
On a platform is not even there. I got upset but toilet smell it's much stronger as impression."
