"Lovely hotel. Receptionist,Ria, was very efficient ,helpful ,polite and very friendly. She made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions about the area. Ria and the girls in the bar who served us not only looked after us but our wee dog was treated very well and given lots of love. The hotel is nice but the staff make it a place that we would definately return to. "

"Friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant. The food was tasty at the evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Bedroom was of a fair size and had all the amenities you needed, however mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. We both woke up with aching backs the next morning. Carpet needs replacing on stairs as is pretty worn in places and dangerous."

"Our room was comfortable and quiet…except the squeaky floor, but c’mon, the place was built in 1700. The staff was fantastic. Stefan was the check in guy, and the bartender. He was super friendly and helpful, and had a great sense of humor! The food was delicious. We had the lamb shank and burger one night, along with breakfast the next morning. We had the fish and chips, and the burger the 2nd night, all of which were fantastic! The bar…the bar is the reason we booked, and it didn’t disappoint!...
